Its been a long warm winter so don’t put opening off too late. Also, DON’T lower your pool’s water level unless you absolutely have to. At opening, its necessary to vacuum mesh covered pools to waste and it really drops the water level.
Pool Openings: Call or email our service department, or talk to your favorite sales person to order a pool opening. We can do the whole thing (Level ll) or partial (Level l). Ask about our 21Point Opening Checklist. Order your SEASON’S CHEMICALS and save 10% with a Level II Opening. REMEMBER, DON’T PUT OFF YOUR OPENING! If your pool is green at opening it will only cost more and you could wind up with a Chlorine Demand situation or have other chemical problems
3 Keys to Clear Safe Pool Water: Although we could write volumes about important items to make pool water safe and clear, here are 3 important areas that must be addressed in this note.
1) Water Chemistry : Take advantage of our FREE COMPUTERIZED WATER ANALYSIS! . This is key to getting your pool off to a great start. Shot gunning pool chemicals could be a huge waste of your money and can lead to more expensive situations. Remember we’re here to make your pool ownership easier, and believe it or not, LESS COSTLY!
2) Circulation: Your pump needs to be in good operating order, so if you’re aware of any issues from last year, point them out to us when you schedule your opening. We can usually take care of any equipment issues when we open if you let us know, and we won’t charge extra for the labor (in most cases).
3) Filtration: Filter Sand (Is It Time For a Change) or any filter media needs to have been cleaned at last fall’s closing for best spring clean up and summer time performance. Now is a great time to change your filter sand if it’s been awhile. If you have a cartridge filter and it’s not fully functional, replace it after you get your pool open. If your old cartridge filter is on the edge of replacement, we suggest starting out with the old filter and cleaning it, and replace it when it can no longer be returned to white.

Stop in any of our 3 Stores and give us the length, width , and shape of your pool and any other particulars like: Type of Stairs, Underwater Light y/n , unusual shape, etc, and we can work you up a quote while you wait. We can turn liner orders around in 2 weeks right now.
