"This is the day our pool problems started disappearing thanks to AquaPros in Lynchburg where we talked to Patrick Muncher and Sean Murphy about converting our pool from Baquacil to chlorine. They discussed all the steps we had to take in order to get rid of the Baquacil in the pool water. At first it was kind of scary because we were told that our pool would turn Green from some of the chemicals required to convert and a scum would appear and settle to the bottom of the pool. In years past when using Baquacil, I had encountered this problem but this time Patrick assured us it would be a good result from chemical usage and get us on the right path of converting back to chlorine. Our only other option was to remove all the water in the pool (20,000 gallons) and start from scratch. We live in the country and are on a well. We would have to have water trucked in just like we did when the pool was installed in 1995 and money wise, this is too expensive. Patrick wrote down all the steps and chemicals we had to use for converting, even to the point of numbering the steps in order, and when we should do the next step. Everything Patrick told us to do and the results of doing them, resulted in the clearest pool we have ever had since it was installed in 1995. Maintenance is a dream. Hardly any more vacuuming. The water tested drinkable it is so clear and sparkling. We have AquaPros to thank for the most enjoyable summer of pool use since 1995. We now go to AquaPros about once every six weeks for chemicals and water testing, and the pool maintenance costs from them has dropped to less than half of what it was. The people at AquaPros took the time and effort to personally care about solving our problems which gave us the confidence to do what they recommended.
