Benefits of Infrared Saunas
Infrared technology is the hottest craze in heat bathing today. Infrared waves are found in the invisible Electromagnetic Spectrum (EM). These are user-safe waves of light, much like ultra-violet light waves of the sun. Infrared therapy saunas differ from traditional saunas in that they operate at a lower ambient temperature and do not use water or rocks to create humidity/steam. Infrared saunas are for folks that prefer a lower ambient temperature.

This profuse sweating happens without feelings of suffocation and discomfort of the high temperatures of traditional dry heat saunas. In scientific terms, a vibratory resonance is set up between the body’s infrared emissions and those of the infrared sauna and in this case, heat is not the important factor. In an article written by Alan D. Clark, M.D., Infrared Sauna Therapy is credited with removing a host of toxins from the human body through sweating.
